Para este propósito se evaluó a 82 hombres y 66 mujeres con edades entre 18 y 21 años (M = 19.00, D.E =1.00) utilizando el Parental Bonding Instrument (Melis et al., 2001) y el Inventario de Ideación Suicida Positiva y Negativa (Villalobos, 2009). Adicionalmente, se exploraron diferencias en las variables según variables sociodemográficas. Se encontró que los factores de riesgo de ideación suicida se relacionan de manera positiva con el control paterno e inversa con el cuidado paterno. Del mismo modo, se halló que a mayor presencia de los factores protectores, menor presencia de control paterno y mayor presencia de cuidado materno y paterno. Finalmente, se observó que los participantes perciben que sus madres son significativamente más controladoras y afectivas que sus padres. Se discuten estos hallazgos, así como las limitaciones del estudio y futuras líneas a seguir.

For this purpose, 82 men and 66 women aged between 18 and 21 years were evaluated (M = 19.00, SD = 1.00) using the Parental Bonding Instrument (Melis et al., 2001) and the Positive and Negative Suicidal Ideation Inventory (Villalobos, 2009). As well, differences in the variables were explored according to socio-demographic variables. It was found that the risk factors of suicidal ideation are positively related to parental control and inversely to parental care. In the same way, it was found that the greater the presence of protective factors, less presence of paternal control and greater presence of paternal and maternal care. Finally, it was observed that participants perceive that their mothers are significantly more controlling and affective than their fathers.
