Para analizar las experiencias de activismo se realizaron entrevistas semi estructuradas. Dicha información se procesó desde un análisis temático inductivo. De esta manera, se hallaron cuatro áreas de análisis que ayudan a explicar las experiencias de activismo social en hombres trans y transmasculinos activistas, las cuales son: espacio de visibilidad, espacio de aprendizaje, espacio de relacionamiento entre pares y espacio de resistencia y lucha. Asimismo, se encontraron tres aspectos que caracterizan de forma transversal las experiencias activistas y ayudan a describir las cuatro áreas anteriormente mencionadas. Dichos aspectos son: el desarrollo del empoderamiento, validación de la identidad trans y el cuestionamiento del entorno de forma crítica.

The sample consisted of six participants, who identified as trans and/or transmasculine men between the ages of 24 and 39 years. These participants belonged to groups or organizations where they would find themselves fighting for the rights of trans people. To analyze the experiences of activism, semi-structured interviews were conducted. This information was processed from an inductive thematic analysis. In this way, four areas of analysis were found that help explain the experiences of social activism in trans and transmasculine activist men: space of visibility, space of learning, space of relationship between peers and space of resistance and fighting.
