description La casa de la juventud se entiende como un lugar que debe generar seguridad, libertad y oportunidades de crecimiento para cada individuo, un edificio que tiene como objetivo cumplir las necesidades de la juventud siendo este un grupo etario que se caracteriza por su espontaneidad y que se encuentra en constante conflicto con la sociedad. Al igual que con la juventud, el edificio se cuestiona y se pone intencionalmente en conflicto con la ciudad con el objetivo de generar una arquitectura que se adapte al crecimiento orgánico de San Juan de Lurigancho y a las características de la juventud, abriendo diferentes posibilidades de diseño mediante la exploración de teorías y elementos arquitectónicos en relación al contexto de Zárate. De manera que el edificio mantenga una continuidad con el espacio público y se vuelva un hito para la población joven buscando generar un impacto a escala urbana que potencie también las posibilidades de una ciudad más integrada en el distrito de San Juan de Lurigancho. Con este objetivo se desarrolla el edificio basado en ensayos e indagaciones que consisten de diferentes diagramas y dibujos que generan una serie de descubrimientos los cuales proponen una perspectiva arquitectónica diferente para repensar y cuestionar la arquitectura de la casa de la juventud a nivel estructural, programático, espacial y urbano.
