description La región de Huánuco por razones geográficas, tiene como actividades representativas a la agricultura, ganadería, caza y silvicultura las cuales representan aproximadamente el 17% de PBI del total de la región según INEI 2016, la producción de diversos productos agrícolas se debe a la amplitud y condiciones favorables del terreno que posee además de características socioculturales que aún mantiene, la mayoría de estos terrenos agrícolas son trabajados de manera tradicional y cuentan con una gran oportunidad de mejora para potenciarlos. Otras actividades que impactan de manera positiva en el PBI de la Región Huánuco son el comercio y construcción con un 12% y 11% respectivamente, que en su gran mayoría son realizados de manera informal. Como mención adicional y en comparación con otras regiones aledañas se evidencia que la actividad del turismo y su infraestructura está poco desarrollada. Nuestro plan para la Región Huánuco desea potenciar actividades económicas como la agro exportación, agroindustria y turismo para elevar el nivel de competitividad, generar inversión privada y ofrecer mayor atractivo turístico que puedan inyectar el capital externo de otras localidades ya que cuenta con el suficiente atractivo natural e histórico para lograrlo. La Región Huánuco al 2028 basará su economía en industrias competitivas, rentables y sostenibles como la agro exportación y turismo, como consecuencia de ello mejorará el bienestar económico y social de su población.

Other activities that have a positive impact on the GDP of the Huánuco Region are trade and construction with 12% and 11% respectively, most of which are carried out informally. As an additional mention and in comparison with other neighboring regions it is evident that the activity of tourism and its infrastructure is underdeveloped. Our plan for the Huánuco Region aims to boost economic activities such as agroexport, agro-industry and tourism to raise the level of competitiveness, generate private investment and offer greater tourist attraction that can inject the external capital of other localities since it has enough natural attractiveness and historical to achieve it.
