Del total de la población de universidades privadas peruanas, se seleccionó una muestra de 47 universidades a las que se les aplicó un cuestionario desarrollado por Benzaquen (2013); información que fue recogida mediante una encuesta, la cual fue procesada y analizada. Con respecto a los resultados obtenidos en las universidades del sector ESUPP, los factores con mayor nivel de cumplimento de los nueve factores de éxito del TQM fueron: la alta gerencia con 4.23 y enfoque de satisfacción al cliente con 4.18; mientras que los factores con menor nivel de cumplimiento fueron los de: entrenamiento y educación con 3.86 y círculos de calidad con 3.68 sobre la escala de Likert.

We took a sample of 47 universities of the total population of Peruvian private universities. We applied a questionnaire developed by Benzaquen (2013) to the sample. The information was collected through a survey which was processed and analyzed.
