La presente investigación tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, de alcance descriptivo, de diseño no experimental y longitudinal de tendencia; y se realizó a una muestra de cuatro empresas operadoras de telecomunicaciones ubicadas en Lima y con cobertura en el ámbito nacional. A través de la presente investigación y de la aplicación de dichos indicadores de VC, se determinó que el Sector Telecomunicaciones en el Perú tiene una calificación media-alta en cuanto a la aplicación del VC. Los resultados permiten notar que el Sector ha realizado una importante gestión en torno a los aspectos sociales y medioambientales; y a su vez la muestra permitió inferir que el 67% de las empresas encuestadas se encontraron en mejores condiciones para aplicar el principio de VC, caracterizadas por la existencia de políticas orientadas hacia la estrategia de desarrollo sostenible; además, cuentan con procedimientos y sistemas de gestión con enfoque en RSE
