description El presente plan estratégico tiene como objetivo presentar la identificación, el análisis y el diagnóstico de la situación actual de la provincia de Angaraes, región Huancavelica, Perú. A partir de dicho diagnóstico, se definieron las estrategias a ser empleadas para lograr el desarrollo de la provincia y alcanzar la situación futura deseada. Para su elaboración, se aplicó el modelo secuencial del profesor Fernando D’Alessio. Actualmente, la provincia de Angaraes se encuentra en una situación de especial atención en diferentes aspectos, como social, económico, en salud y educativo. La principal causa de la problemática que se pudo identificar es la ausencia del recurso agua en forma constante durante todo el año, así como la deficiente red vial en toda la provincia que dificulta la interconexión entre las comunidades y sus distritos; los cuales repercuten en las actividades económicas del turismo y la agricultura. En consecuencia, las estrategias planteadas, como promover el turismo a través de alianzas estratégicas; entregar agua potable para la población y para regadíos por medio de la creación de presas y micropresas, y la construcción de vías de comunicación y la creación de un parque ecológico que genere ingresos a la provincia, se enfocarán en solucionar la problemática encontrada en un horizonte de 10 años, involucrando a los principales actores y recursos para llevarlas a cabo

From this diagnosis, the strategies were defined to achieve the development of the province and reach the desired future situation. For the elaboration, the Sequential Model of Professor Fernando D`Alessio was applied. Currently, Angaraes province is in a situation of special attention in different aspects such as social, economic, health and educational.
