Se encontraron correlaciones significativas e inversas entre los constructos de uso problemático de pornografía con la soledad emocional, aunque el tamaño del efecto era bajo. Finalmente, tanto la soledad y el uso problemático de pornografía se relacionaron de forma inversa con el apoyo social percibido, destacando al soporte social como factor de protección para estas problemáticas.

To this end, 133 heterosexual adult men, with an average age of 22.4 years (SD = 4.42), were evaluated. The instruments used were the Problematic Pornography Use Scale (PPUS), the Perceived Social Support Scale (MOS), and the De Jong Gierveld Loneliness Scale. Significant inverse correlations were found between the constructs of problematic pornography use and emotional loneliness, although the effect size was low.
