description La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar la Masculinidad Hegemónica, la teoría de Creencia en el Mundo Justo y la Justificación de la violencia de género en adolescentes varones. La violencia de género es un fenómeno pertinente de estudiar e intervenir debido a las altas estadísticas nacionales y la amplia evidencia teórica. Se realizó un análisis cuantitativo con una muestra total de 118 adolescentes varones de dos colegios de Lima Metropolitana, entre 14 y 17 años. Se aplicaron 3 instrumentos de manera presencial, el Inventario de Masculinidad y Feminidad (IMAFE; Lara, 1993), el cuestionario de Creencia Global en un Mundo Justo (GBJW; Lipkus, 1991) y se construyó una escala de Justificación de Violencia de Género para adolescentes. Los resultados fueron consistentes estadísticamente y se encontraron correlaciones pequeñas entre factores del IMAFE y la escala de Justificación de Violencia de Género. Por un lado, se encontraron relaciones positivas el factor Machismo del IMAFE y la Violencia Psicológica de la escala de Justificación de Violencia de Género; y por otro lado, entre el factor de Sumisión y el factor de Violencia Física.

Gender violence is a relevant phenomenon to study and intervene due to high national statistics and extensive theoretical evidence. A quantitative analysis was carried out with a total sample of 118 male adolescents from two schools in Metropolitan Lima, between 14 and 17 years old. 3 instruments were applied in person, the Inventory of Masculinity and Femininity (IMAFE; Lara, 1993), the Global Belief in a Just World questionnaire (GBJW; Lipkus, 1991) and a scale was built to evaluate Justification of Gender Violence for teenagers. The results were statistically consistent and small correlations were found between factors of the IMAFE and the Justification of Gender Violence scale.
