Reporte del caso: Paciente varón de 41 años de edad que a la tercera semana de haber iniciado el primer esquema de tratamiento por tuberculosis pleural, presenta prurito, exantema eritematoso generalizado y posteriormente eosinofilia, también desarrolla insuficiencia respiratoria aguda de curso progresivo a pesar de la corticoterapia. Conclusión: El síndrome de DRESS es frecuentemente secundario a tratamiento anticonvulsivante, principalmente la carbamazepina, sin embargo hay pocos casos descritos por tratamiento antituberculoso.
