The study’s methodology is quantitative with a nonexperimental design, for whose effect analysis was developed through a panel data model to identify the determinant variables of inclusive economic growth. Annual data of the main macroeconomic and social variables were used for a sample of 14 Latin American countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay); the study horizon comprises 25 years, between 1995 and 2019. The following variables were found to have a direct influence on inclusive economic growth: public spending and international trade; the study also showed that inflation, unemployment, and the presence of crises have a negative impact on inclusive economic growth. Moreover, an additional public expenditure of 1% implies an increase of 0.100% in inclusive economic growth, and for each positive variation of 1% in international trade, inclusive economic growth responds with an increase of 0.144%.application/pdfInglésengWSEASGRurn:issn:1109-9526urn:issn:2224-2899https://wseas.com/journals/bae/2023/b945107-2126.pdfinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessAttribution 4.0 Internationalhttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Inclusive economic growthPublic spendingInternational tradeInflationUnemploymentGini indexCrecimiento económico inclusivoGasto públicoComercio internacionalInflaciónDesempleoÍndice de Ginihttps://purl.org/pe-repo/ocde/ford#5.02.04Determinants of inclusive economic growth in Latin Americainfo:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionArtículoreponame:ESAN-Institucionalinstname:Universidad ESANinstacron:ESANhttps://orcid.org/0000-0003-2577-876XAcceso abiertoWSEAS Transactions on Business and Economics1073105920ORIGINALcalderon-contreras2023.pdfcalderon-contreras2023.pdfTexto completoapplication/pdf1407898https://repositorio.esan.edu.pe/bitstreams/a0b6dbe3-4fa6-4d9e-9172-6a307202d4b4/download7337ecaa0a84dc3505cf2f3364898b04MD51trueAnonymousREADTHUMBNAILcalderon-contreras2023.pdf.jpgcalderon-contreras2023.pdf.jpgGenerated Thumbnailimage/jpeg5234https://repositorio.esan.edu.pe/bitstreams/a1e9cfbe-5c9f-4276-80d4-fa7cf3a43630/downloade60abf690f33e2fb97260ae2df980271MD55falseAnonymousREADTEXTcalderon-contreras2023.pdf.txtcalderon-contreras2023.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain70952https://repositorio.esan.edu.pe/bitstreams/4fc18a9e-e38a-4d36-ab3f-1f6d38bb018e/downloadb7900ec935835c6fd4c402f280d0a539MD54falseAnonymousREAD20.500.12640/3487oai:repositorio.esan.edu.pe:20.500.12640/34872024-11-25 19:41:21.543https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessopen.accesshttps://repositorio.esan.edu.peRepositorio Institucional ESANrepositorio@esan.edu.pe
