Patient care is the primary purpose of the nursing staff, it must be humanized and contributory to the recovery process taking into account the physical, emotional and social aspects of the patient. The objective of this study is to determine the level of quality of nursing care in the hospitalization service of the Regional Hospital of Ica, 2016. An inductive deductive method was used, the type of research is basic, simple descriptive, cross-sectional and non-design. experimental. The study population was made up of patients hospitalized in the clinic in question, a casual non-probabilistic sampling was carried out obtaining information from 247 participants, a standardized Care-Q questionnaire was applied to measure the quality of nursing care and it was validated by expert judgment for use in the present study. The following results were obtained: The level of quality of nursing care for hospitalized patients is high in 93.6% as stated by the population, also the results by dimensions are obtained a high level exceeding 90% of acceptance except in the dimension explains and facilitates where the quality index is 85%. The patients of the regional hospital of Ica indicate that the quality of care of the nursing staff is optimal, being this result of great help for their recovery process.
