SYSTEM OF ACTIONS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF INTEGRATING FIELD PRACTICE IN HIGHER EDUCATION

The investigative work presents a system of actions to carry out fi eld work with an integrative character and with an ecosystem approach and confronting climate change in the Bachelor of Education career Biology-Geography in Cuba, to enhance the future professional performance of graduates, by promoting Environmental Education and sustainable development in the centers of this level of education for the terminal years in the selected fi eld practice polygons. The diagnosis was made to determine the diffi culties that affect fi eld work realization in an integrative way. To mitigate the diffi culties detected, the system of actions whose contribution to the theory is given in its conception is proposed where the interaction between its components allows fulfilling the social order exposed in the professional model. The components that make up the system are: a theoretical block made up of the work of the professors and students cabinet; a practical block that includes the procedures for carrying out the actions and a conclusions block where the interrelation between theory and practice is corroborated. It shows the systematization and updating of new content in correspondence with the updating of the foundations of environmental education and the requirements for using the system. The system is submitted to experts' criteria declaring it pertinent and is put into practice from the academic year 2018 - 2019 with excellent results. El trabajo investigativo presenta un sistema de acciones para la realización del trabajo de campo con carácter integrador y con un enfoque ecosistémico y de enfrentamiento al cambio climático en la carrera de Licenciatura en Educación Biología-Geografía en Cuba, con el objetivo de potenciar el desempeño profesional futuro de los egresados, al propiciar la Educación Ambiental y el desarrollo sostenible en los centros de este nivel de enseñanza para los años terminales en los polígonos de prácticas de campo seleccionados. Se realizó el diagnóstico para determinar las dificultades que afectan la realización del trabajo de campo de forma integradora. Para mitigar las dificultades detectadas se propone el sistema de acciones cuyo aporte a la teoría está dado en su concepción donde la interacción entre sus componentes permite cumplir el encargo social expuesto en el modelo del profesional. Los componentes que integran el sistema son: un bloque teórico conformado por el trabajo de gabinete de profesores y estudiantes; un bloque práctico que incluye los procedimientos para ejecución de las acciones y un bloque de conclusiones donde se corrobora la interrelación entre la teoría y la práctica. En él se pone de manifiesto la sistematización y actualización de nuevos contenidos en correspondencia con la actualización de los fundamentos de la educación ambiental y las exigencias para el uso del sistema. El sistema se somete a criterio de expertos declarándose como pertinente y se pone en práctica a partir del curso académico 2018 - 2019 con excelentes resultados.
