ResumenEn el presente artículo, el autor analiza la obra intelectual de Ricardo Palma identificándolo como una figura que encarna al gran escritor representativo de la nacionalidad peruana. Desde esa ubicación,describe la relación que tuvo con diferentes miembros de la generación del 900, quienes lo reconocieron como su maestro y encarnación del alma nacional.
