I consider it a high honor to the opportunity offered to me by Dr. Lucas Molina, whose intelligence, hard work and enthusiasm the appearance of this journal, write a few words by way of Editorial in the first issue is due. Founded the Peruvian Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology in June 1947, the first presidency held the illustrious late Prof. Constantine J. Carvallo, creator of the current Peruvian gynecological school, it happened then clarified by the obstetrician Dr. Alejandro Busalleu already disappeared and later by very distinguished colleagues, soon he became a general desire edition of its magazine. It was Molina, however, who during his presidency last year had as its leitmotif of this longing and management has become reality.
Considero un alto honor la oportunidad, que me brinda el Dr. Lucas Molina, a cuya inteligencia, laboriosidad y entusiasmo se debe la aparición de esta Revista, de escribir unas palabras a manera de Editorial en su primer número. Fundada la Sociedad Peruana de Obstetricia y Ginecología en junio de 1947, cuya primera Presidencia ejerció el ilustre extinto Prof. Constantino J. Carvallo, creador de la escuela ginecológica peruana actual, sucedido en ella luego por el esclarecido obstetra Dr. Alejandro Busalleu ya desaparecido y más tarde por muy distinguidos colegas, pronto se convirtió en un anhelo general la edición de su Revista. Fue Molina, sin embargo, quien durante su presidencia el año pasado tuvo como Leit motiv de su gestión este anhelo y lo ha convertido en realidad.
