The Public Works Tax Deduction Law has been enacted to foster public investment at a local and regional level by including participation from the private sector and through the subscription of agreements with local and regional governments.Nonetheless its noble purposes, in the application field of the Law, normative gaps are put into evidence, which impede its practical application. In the present article, the author shows which are the Law’s deficiencies, while analyzing them and proposing possible solutions.

Concession agreements in infrastructure have civil and administrative nature making possible for the Government to apply administrative fines and liquidated damages provisions in case of concessionaires breach.On the transportation infrastructure side, the authors explain that theoretical and practical misunderstandings are present between both legal systems and suggest amendments to the legal framework to overcome such problems.The analysis of these issues is supported on the review of several concession agreements and a comparison with the regulation of the matter in other markets.

On August 29, 2020, in an attempt to address some of the public's claims in the context of the health crisis, the Congress of the Republic of Peru approved Law 31040, a Law amending the Criminal Code and the Consumer Protection Code, with regard to hoarding, speculation and adulteration, which aims to criminalize the execution of anticompetitive practices. Thus, these practices, until before the enactment, merited only administrative sanctions imposed by Indecopi's Committee on the Defense of Free Competition.In this paper, the authors present some reflections on the compatibility of that Act with the Peruvian legal system. In this way, they substantiate why it constitutes an obstacle to the suppression of anticompetitive practices and increases the level of legal uncertainty for potential offenders.

En el Perú, la compra de viviendas nuevas finaliza con la entrega y transferencia de los bienes inmuebles a nivel registral, levantando cargas ajenas a los mismos, con lo que se considera que los inmuebles se encuentran saneados. Este proceso actualmente es doloroso para sus participantes, sea por la manualidad de las actividades, falta de informes de gestión completos, poca transparencia, dilación en atención de requerimientos y complicaciones recurrentes que deben abordarse de forma conjunta.
