The present study to evaluate the clinical evaluation, marginal leakage of 30 amalgams restorations with sealers cavity and 30 amalgams restorations not sealers cavity. After of 12 months observation in amalgams restorations with sealers cavity 100% success in marginal leakage and not presents of secondary caries, not to have presents clinical cases of sensitivity post-operative and pulp inflammation.

In order to conduct this study were selected 100 patients from the clinics consult devices of the Odontology School of the UMSM and from the Odontopediathrics Departament of the Instituto Nacional del Niño from to 8 to 10 years old, presence of dental caries in both half dental arcades without any other systemic pathology associated. With the permission of the parents or the personal in charge of the patient, we proceed to fill the odontogram and initiate the Non Traumatic Restoration Treatment (NTRT) according to the protocol: Caries within half dental arcade without chemical-mechanical caries tissue remotion and with standard odontological treatment (group A) and caries within the left half dental arcade with chemical-mechanical caries tissue remotion using CARISOLV according to the manufacturer specifications (group B). The aim of this study was to determine the correlation between hypo-salivation and corono-radicular caries in older adult patients, which analyzed the physicochemical properties of saliva (flow, pH), the frequency and location of the corono-radicular caries. Was selected a sample of 45 persons, adult patients over 60 years and another 18 to 26 years (control group), from service centers, hospitals and universities. The technique of collection of saliva, consisted of making chewing a piece of paraffin for a period of five minutes and gradually spit in a tank, which allowed to measure the volume and pH salival. We observed the oral higiene and the corono-radicular caries of all tooth surfaces. The results, the volume of saliva in the elderly, had an average of 3.27 ml/5min very low values compared with the values of young people who have an average of 5.22 ml/5min. The main objective of this study was to determine the profile of oral health and disease of the elderly adults of urban Lima, taking into account the prevalence of dental caries, periodontal disease, oral mucosa injuries and treatment needs. Descriptive and transversal study was using over 120 elderly adults (over 60 years old), living in Lima center and district. Data collection was performed by the method of clinical observation and interview using rates and procedures of the WHO. The results obtained were: average age 71 years, high prevalence of the female gender (70%) and secondary education, presence of hypertension with 33 % and diabetes mellitus with 10.8%, the mucosal disorders in 10.8 %, with ulceration type localized on the palate and alveolar ridges.
