Se evaluó la capacidad discriminativa de tres instrumentos que tienen como objetivo identificar el deterioro cognitivo: Mini Mental Test de Folstein, MEC30 de LOBO y el Test de Detección Precoz de Alzheimer. Se aplicó a una muestra de 50 pacientes con diagnóstico clínico de demencia atendidos en un instituto especializado de Lima frente a un grupo control (50 sujetos normales). Los resultados indican que los tres instrumentos presentan diferencias significativas con un nivel de significación de 95%. La media del Mini Mental test de Folstein, de los grupos control y clínico fueron de 27.98 y 18.34 respectivamente. El test Mini Examen Cognoscitivo MEC30 de LOBO tuvo medias de GControl= 28.32 y GClínico= 15.12 y por último el test Detección precoz de Demencia por Enfermedad de Alzheimer (TDPD) obtuvo una media de GControl= 92.34 y GClínico= 82. The principal aim of the study was evidences of the validity offered psicométrica of the Gestáltico Visomotor Bender’s Test (TGV) and the System of Qualification of Gradual Punctuation (B-SPG). We evaluated 216 people diagnosed with epilepsy in order to identify their neuropsychological characteristics, as well as to compare them according to gender, age group and time of illness. A registration form was applied for sociodemographic data and neuropsi (neuropsychological test battery in Spanish). The results indicated that 75 % of the sample presented normal neuropsychological manifestations, followed by 71 % of mild manifestations, 38 % moderate and 31 % severe. There are no differences by gender, but by age group and disease time.
