El objetivo de la investigación fue analizar el juego como estrategia que utilizan las docentes en niños de educación inicial para mejorar el razonamiento matemático en Lima Metropolitana. La investigación fue de enfoque cuantitativo con un nivel y diseño descriptivo. Se trabajo con una muestra no probabilística de 55 docentes de educación inicial, cuyo instrumento fue el cuestionario, bajo la técnica de la encuesta. Los resultados evidenciaron que un 22% de docentes consideran que el uso de juegos lúdicos es pertinente para facilitar el razonamiento matemático en los niños, al mismo tiempo el restante de los educadores se clasifica como moderados (42%) y como deficiente el (36%), lo que sugiere que el uso no tan suficiente de los juegos lúdicos.
