The main objective of this study is to determine the relationship between remote work and emotion management. It also aims to determine the relationship between the dimensions “working hours”, “work and technological support” and “social wellness”, and the emotion management variable. A methodology based on a quantitative approach with a descriptive-correlational and cross-sectional scope was used on a sample of 148 master’s degree students of the School of Administration of Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Likert-type scale surveys were used to gather data. The methods of analysis used were descriptive and correlational. The results indicate that the variables remote work and emotion management are positively and moderately correlated (0.465); therefore, it is concluded that remote work and all its dimensions are related to emotion management.

En el Foro desarrollado en nuestro país a fines del 2013 sobre la educación técnica tuvo como una de sus conclusiones la importancia de valorizar la educación técnica y científica y hacerla más aplicativa con el fin de contar con más técnicos operativos, tecnólogos e ingenieros para desarrollar las áreas de mayor potencial económico del país. En contraposición al Perú, otros países emergentes, como los asiáticos, concentrarían un 70 por ciento de sus profesionales en estos nuevos campos. The main objective was to determine the level of relationship between a skills management model and the work environment of workers in a service, consulting and outsourcing company. The population was 350 workers from a Peruvian company with an adjusted sample of 120 to 95% confidence level. The analysis methods are carried out through surveys with two types of scale, Likert type and dichotomous. According to the results of the variable management by competences and the work environment, the difficulties and the positive form are correlated (0.622). The dimensions of variable management by competences are: planning and dissemination of the strategic plan, identification of competencies, basic training in competencies and work environment.
