Existe un problema de contaminación ambiental en torno a los efluentes en aguas residuales de establecimientos de salud. En la investigación se presenta el resultado del tratamiento de este tipo de aguas vertidas por la lavandería del Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño – San Borja, Haciendo uso de esta tecnología de Oxidación Fotocatalítica con TiO2 y Luz UV. Logrando buscar a través de esta tecnología disminuir las concentraciones de contaminantes presentes en este tipo de agua residual que van directamente a la red de alcantarillado ya que por sus características son altamente biocontaminados.
