En el presente trabajo de investigación se determinó el carbono almacenado en sistemas agroforestales combinadas con cacao (Theobroma cacao L.). Se midió el carbono en todos los compartimentos: suelo, hojarasca y biomasa aérea, mediante metodologías aceptadas por el ICRAF para ello se evaluarón cuatro parcelas o sistemas agroforestales, en el distrito de Madre de Dios, Las Piedras, Huepetuhe y Tambopata, con cultivo de cacao en diferentes edades 8, 10, 12 y 15 años de edad, se utilizó fórmulas de biomasa arborea, hojarasca y de medición alométrica para la especie agroforestal cacao, posteriormente el carbono almacenado, como tambien efectos de considerar la producción, aprovechamiento sostenible, conservación y diversidad de especies en sistemas agroforestales para la elaboración de proyectos de comercialización y servicio ambientales.

El objetivo de la presente investigación fue de evaluar “la dinámica de la sucesión vegetal, como instrumento para la formulación de modelos de rehabilitación en áreas degradadas por la minería aurífera aluvial, en Madre de Dios”. Para lo cual, se realizaron un inventario florístico en áreas degradadas por minería aurífera en Punquiri Chico (Madre de Dios). El tipo de muestreo fue por conveniencia y se utilizaron 10 transectos de tipo Gentry modificados de 0,1 ha. En cada parcela se evaluaron los individuos con un diámetro a la atural del pecho mayor a 2,5 cm (DAP > 2,5 cm). Cada individuo fue identificado y se midio su altura y DAP. Asimismo, se realizaron colectas botánicas, de preferencia fértiles, para su posterior identificación en el Herbario Alwyn Gentry – UNAMAD (HAG). The study aimed to analyze the influence of learning chess on mathematical, attention, and concentration abilities in school-aged children of two Schools in Peruvian Amazon. First-grade secondary school students were selected from two schools in Puerto Maldonado city, public and private. The design of the study was quasi-experimental, pretest-posttest evaluations and a control group. Each group had between 18-30 students, and the experimental group was given chess classes twice a week for three months. To analyze the effect of the intervention a Generalized Linear Model was used. In the two abilities evaluated, the posttest results of the experimental group were higher than the control group.
