This work aims to compare the characteristics of the political reintegration —after the end of the period of political violence— of the former members of the insurgents groups Communist Party of Peru - Shining Path (PCP-SL), National Liberation Movement - Tupamaros (MLN-T) and Montoneros, in order to answer the question about what were the factors that determined the particularities of the reintegration process of each of these organizations. After a historical analysis we conclude that there were three central components that were key in the political reintegration of each of the organizations, all of them developed during the time of transition to democracy in Peru, Uruguay and Argentina, respectively —which functioned as a critical juncture—. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo comparar la cobertura realizada por los diarios La República y Correo, en sus respectivas ediciones digitales, sobre 'El Frontón' y 'El mausoleo de Comas', casos emblemáticos de la etapa del conflicto armado interno peruano y del periodo posconflicto, respectivamente. La comparación se realizará en dos niveles: entre medios de comunicación, para definir las características del tipo de memoria que cada uno representa, y entre los diferentes casos, para determinar si es que los dos lugares de enunciación, a partir de nuevas situaciones posconflicto, han evolucionado en el tiempo o, por el contrario, mantienen las mismas características de antaño. A partir de esto, se busca proponer un nuevo modelo de comunicación periodístico que supere las taras que ambas arrastran en su interpretación.
