Objective. Decide the association between the support of the couple and depression in pregnant women of the third trimester of pregnancy attending to the National Maternal and Perinatal Institute in the months of June and July of 2017. Methodology. Observational, analytical study of cases and controls, prospective and cross-sectional, in which there were two groups: 45 pregnant women with depression (case group) and 45 pregnant women without depression (control group), who met the selection criteria. The inferential statistic was used by Pearson's chi-squared test (X2), which was considered significant when the value of p is less than 0,05. Results. Objective. To analyse the factors associated with the initiation of early breastfeeding of the National Mother Teaching Hospital "San Bartolomé", September to October 2017. Material and Methods. Observational, analytical, retrospective and cross-sectional study. We surveyed 191 women cases who started early and 191 controls. Regarding the analysis of the data, absolute and relative frequencies were estimated for the qualitative variables, and in the case of the quantitative variables, means and standard desviation were estimated; to find the association, the Chi-square test was used and Odds Ratio test. Objective: Identify the causes for discontinuation of temporary contraceptive methods in students from a University of Lima, Peru. Material and methods: Descriptive and cross-sectional study, realized in obstetric students from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos that discontinued the use of the last contraceptive method. The sample was made up of 51 university students. Relative and absolute frequencies were estimated; also, the differences between analysis groups were made using the Chi Square Test (x2) or Fisher’s Test. Results: The age range is between 19 to 24 years old (76,5%) and the single marital status prevailed (98%). Introduction. Virtual obstetric psychoprophylaxis enhances prenatal care by improving maternal and neonatal health outcomes. Objectives. To evaluate virtual obstetric psychoprophylaxis and its association with maternal and perinatal outcomes. Methods. An observational, descriptive, and correlational study was conducted at the EsSalud Aurelio Díaz Ufano Hospital (Lima, Peru) from September 2020 to September 2021. A total of 132 nulliparous pregnant women without comorbidities were included, divided into two groups: 66 who received virtual psychoprophylaxis and 66 who did not. Non-probabilistic convenience sampling was applied. Data were collected from electronic medical records and labor ward logs.
