Esta investigación a largo plazo se está llevando a cabo en tierras degradadas de baja fertilidad en los trópicos húmedos de la Amazonía peruana. El objetivo es recuperar tierras degradadas para una agricultura sostenible que se vio afectada por la agricultura migratoria y los pastos sobrepastoreados. Sacha inchi oil is rich in essential and non-essential fatty acids and other types of bioactive agents like tocopherols and polyphenolic compounds, which are very well-known antioxidants. In this study, the encapsulation of sacha inchi oil in alginate (AL) and chitosan (CS) nanoparticles was achieved with the assistance of high-intensity ultrasound. Nanoemulsion is the most effective delivery and high stability system for lipophilic bioactive agents. Chitosan and surfactant concentrations were varied to study their effect on particle formulations. Size, zeta-potential, polydispersity, and stability of particles were determined in time to optimize the preparation conditions. Introducción: Las enfermedades cardiovasculares son la primera causa de muerte en el mundo, dichas enfermedades se pueden prevenir mediante el control de los factores de riesgo, donde destacan la obesidad, hipertensión, tabaquismo, sedentarismo y antecedentes familiares. Objetivo: Identificar el factor de riesgo cardiovascular más frecuente en los estudiantes universitarios. Material y métodos: Estudio comparativo, observacional, prospectivo y transversal; se realizó en 8 facultades de la Universidad Veracruzana Región Veracruz, divididas en dos grupos, el primero del área de Ciencias de la Salud y el Segundo de áreas mixtas; de cada facultad se estudiaron 43 alumnos, dando una muestra total de 344; se registraron los siguientes datos: antecedentes familiares, tabaquismo, actividad física y se obtuvieron valores como peso, talla, presión arterial y glucemia capilar. In this study, we determined the crystallographic, magnetization and electrical resistivity properties of a EuFe0.5Mn0.5O3 complex perovskite produced using a combustion synthesis method. The sample crystallized as an orthorhombic perovskite belonging to the Pbnm space group. Magnetization measurements indicated spin reorientation at 206 K and weak ferromagnetic-like ordering at low temperatures. Determining the magnetization as a function of the magnetic field demonstrated the presence of magnetic order, even at room temperature. Resistivity measurements indicated the existence of a small polaron conduction mechanism at high temperature. © 2020
