Every living being without exception, whether animal or vegetable, belongs to a species only include their hereditary potentials in a given environment, potentials that come into play in the differentiation of all psychic external and internal physical characteristics, suncionales and of an individual or phenotype.

The study of hereditary traits, such as blood group and Rh factor, if performed in adult individuals in a population; have value for a genetic interpretation, provided that the group studied is representative of the population that wants to know, because these characters are no differences in terms of age and is for this reason that in our work we have studied a group of 200 native-age military service procediían of areas near Huancayo, there being no factor to suspect some kind of insulation between the areas from which these individuals came.

In this paper, we present the results of five years of experimentation on playing at altitude. Since 1940, when the lethal action of dilutor of tartrates on spermatozoa demonstrated to date, we have advanced in the study of reproduction, but since this topic so broad and so much interest for its practical implementation, we believe our results should be considered as a preliminary survey in this study. Each point must be reviewed and analyzed carefully, because of the results obtained in experimental work depends establishing scientific guidelines for the reproduction and development of animal population of our mountain.

The author studies the semen of the rams in its known characteristics, and states the differences found at 4500 mts. of altitude. The very well know fact of reduced birth rate (50 to 60 % versus 100 % at sea level), is due to several factors : The deviations of pH are greater than at sea level. The number of spermatozoids is rather high, but there are young forms frequently seen, with a decrease of their mobility, as well as the presence of white blood cells, epithelial cells, etc. In fact he founds only 26 % of 58 supposedly normal rams, which could be considered suited for reproduction. By means of artificial insemination, and using selected males, he obtained 86,4 % of fertility, the result being very impressive as the ewes served were those so called "machorras" (infertiles). This paper proves, therefore, that the reduced birth rate of sheep at high altitude, is due to a diminishing ...

The know tartrate glucose for semen, does not work at 4000 mts. above the sea level. By changing its composition the author obtained better results.

The basic position of the researcher in the case of adaptation to the height of the existing races since prehistoric times, must be established on the concept of acclimatization, the undisputed leading inherent ability to live and reproduce. Therefore, the problem statement involves studying altitude climates and biological characteristics of the beings that inhabit it; that is, the functional integration mechanisms between organism and environment. It is considered as a starting point, bioclimatic units constituting physiological systems in dynamic equilibrium adapted to live from sea level perhaps above 5,300 meters (Bowman), who may just be the ecumene of the human race.

The aggressive action of the physical and chemical causes on male gonads has received increased attention in recent years. Thus in the excellent magazine Hueper, which we refer to knowledge of the literature until 1942, it realizes the exogenous factors that may act on the germinal epithelium causing loss of libido, azoospermia and tissue damage, reversible sometimes and other irreversible.

Until 1940, the prevailing view regarding the declining birth of sheep in the highlands compared to what is obtained at sea level, was based on the belief in the existence of sheep "butch" unable to reproduce. Despite this, farmers employing 5 or 7 acclimated males per 100 sheep, long residence with blood from sheep brought for the Colony; while at sea level, this percentage never exceeded 2 or 3 Yet it was extremely difficult to obtain, with imported animals, a higher reproduction ratio to 30% or 40%, particularly the first year of acclimatization, during which the percentage of fertility fell within 20% with the consequent economic loss.

Obesity is a chronic multifactorial disease that has reached global epidemic proportions, representing a complex medical condition with serious social and psychological consequences. The excess of visceral adiposity is associated with a plethora of metabolic dysfunctions (insulin resistance, atherogenic dyslipidemia, hypertension, decreased fibrinolysis, increased risk of thrombosis, endothelial inflammation) that increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. The strategies proposed for the correct therapeutic approach must be in accordance with the severity of overweight, the presence of chronic coexisting diseases and the functional limitations of each individual.

Hypertensive disorders during pregnancy are frequent complications considered an important cause of maternal and/or fetal morbidity and mortality. The various current guidelines on the management of hypertension during pregnancy agree to treat patients with blood pressure ≥ 160/105-110 mmHg due to a high risk of stroke, and to normalize the blood pressure to < 140/90 if there is end-organ damage. The evidence concludes that treatment of low to moderate hypertension reduces the risk to develop uncontrolled hypertension, but does not prevent preeclampsia. Regarding the choice of drug, none of the recommended agents is considered a first option because no data support either of them.
