A Socio-constructivist psychology proposes the interactive nature of development and knowledge. In this sense, the analysis of socio-cognitive interaction has been a central aspect within this tradition. The systematic and reliable analysis of the interaction involves a great challenge since its complexity, dynamicity and multiplicity. The literature shows a wide variety of methodological proposals for the analysis of socio-cognitive interaction, ranging from more holistic approaches to more systematic approaches based on the construction of categories. The latter constitute the focus of interest of this work. The aim is to propose a classification and description of the variety of categorical systems usedin recent years for the analysis of socio-cognitive peer interaction. From a systematic review in different international databases, 24 categorical systems were selected and analyzed. Th...

The aim of the study was to evaluate heart rate (HR) and blood pressure (BP) in domestic dogs of a breeding facility in the city of Corrientes, Argentina in response to contact with an unknown person, taking into account whether sociability influences these responses. A total of 18 adult dogs, aged 1 to 8 years, of both sexes, of the Smooth Fox Terrier, Wire Hair Fox Terrier and Beagle breeds were studied. A sociability test was applied, consisting of two phases of two minutes each. In the passive phase the person does not interact with the animal and in the active phase the person interacts with the animal through caresses. The variables of latency, physical and visual contact and signs of fear/submission were registered. Based on the responses, the animals were distributed in a less social group (1, n=9) and a more social group (2, n=9). Blood pressure (systolic [PS], diastolic [PD], m...

In this study, the antimicrobial activity of Enterococcus strains isolated from the gut content of garden snail (Helix aspersa Müller) was investigated by agar diffusion assay. Among the 90 isolates obtained, 37 exhibited inhibitory activity against one or more of the Listeria strains tested. Based on the highest activity, 16 enterococci strains were selected for further studies. None of these strains exhibited β-hemolysis or gelatinase activity and all were sensitive to vancomycin. Treatment with lysozyme and catalase did not affect the anti-Listeria activity. Moreover, the enzymatic activity of trypsin abolished the inhibitory action of the cell-free supernatants (CFS), confirming the protein nature of the active compounds. In all cases CFS activity remained stable after heat treatment (100 ºC, 10 min). These characteristics described agree with bacteriocin type II of lactic ac...

The aim of the study was to identify the species affected by the illegal trafficking of wildlife received in a rescue center in the city of Guayaquil. For this, the records from 2018 to 2020 were collected, from which data were obtained on the origin of the rescue, the presence of injuries and their severity, and the percentage of mortality. Additionally, with the identification of the specimen, it was categorized according to the species, and its situation according to the red list of threatened species of the IUCN (International Union for the Conservation of Nature) and the red books of Ecuador. A total of 743 animals of different species were registered, the juvenile stage being the most frequent. These animals were received by confiscation and voluntary surrender. During this period there was a 10% mortality, with mammals showing the highest rate. According to the IUCN, most of the s...

The importance of dog population control relies on its implications in the transmission of zoonotic diseases, environmental pollution and possible injuries or attacks to humans. The aim of this work was to assess the impact of surgical neutering on the dog population in the city of Buenos Aires and Gran Buenos Aires area, Argentine through demographic rate indexes and tenancy behaviors. Data was obtained in a survey conducted in 2008 and 2009 in 136 households in the areas of Villa del Parque (CABA) and 143 of Villa Ballester (MGSM). A probabilistic model to calculate the annual growth rate of the dog population was developed. No differences were observed in the proportion of households keeping animals and those keeping dogs. However, MGSM presented an average rate of dogs per household higher than CABA. Population control indicators for surgical neutering were significantly higher whils...

Los in...

The nineteenth-century Spanish-American constitutionalism was inextricably related to the emancipatory process. The constitutional texts sought to establish limits to public powers that were forming in the independent territories, in mined paths of crossroads on which the newest historical and legal studies are elucidating motivations and objectives. From there, it is being discovered that constitutional projects did not ignored a four-hundred-yearold public order, but incorporated elements, subjects and above all, purposes: what is the objective of putting functions and limits to a public power separate from the domestic sphere? Can we trace the survival of an old domestic order —oeconomic— in the constitution, social and political order that should not be confused with the colonial fact? Therefore, it is important to periodize the constitutional journey, since although in...

This study reveals how a company designed and developed a shared value initiative from a new product line, contributing to the sustainable development goals in Peru. The paper aims to identify the main characteristics of the collective impact achieved by Shared Value strategies of the Peruvian multinational company, AJE Group. The authors use an empirical case study of one of the biggest multinational companies in Peru to build upon Kramer’s model for shared value initiatives and analyze each of its five elements for shared value. The findings of this paper allow practitioners, as well as policy-makers, to identify sustainable managerial practices and opportunities for sustainability-oriented public policy design which can be implemented in other organizations.
