elationship between socioeconomic status and school dropout among high school students. The methodology used was quantitative, with a hypothetical-deductive approach and a non-experimental design. A population of 270 students was identified, from which a representative sample of 200 students was selected from a public school offering extraordinary education. Two specific questionnaires were designed: the first addresses the social factors that may influence students' educational experience, and the second focuses on identifying the causes and patterns of school dropout. The results show a direct connection between the variables; applying the Pseudo R-squared, the Nagelkerke value indicates a high incidence value of socioeconomic level in school dropout, highlighting the importance of improving the conditions of these students to avoid school dropout. La investigación titulada “Factores sociales y la deserción escolar de estudiantes en Educación Básica Superior de una Unidad Educativa Fiscal, Guayaquil-Ecuador 2023” es un estudio de tipo básica, enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental corte transversal y correlacional causal. Se utilizó una muestra de 200 estudiantes matriculados en bachillerato de la oferta extraordinaria; se aplicó la técnica de la encuesta y, como instrumento, 2 cuestionarios; ambos fueron validados por cinco expertos, verificando su confiabilidad mediante el coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach; para el procesamiento de datos se utilizó el programa IBM SPSS Statistics. The research focused on determining the results of a research skills program in the strengthening of cognitive-conceptual scientific competence in high school students of an educational unit in Quito, Ecuador. The methodology of quantitative approach, and quasi-experimental design, a questionnaire of scientific competencies was used as an instrument and had a non-probabilistic sample, for convenience of 85 students, distributed equally between the experimental group (43 students) and the control group (42 students) belonging to the third year of high school. This research sought to evaluate the impact of a gamified resource program on inclusive education learning and the strengthening of inclusive skills in university students in the city of Machala, Ecuador; focusing on knowledge and understanding. The research has a quantitative approach, with a quasi-experimental design, used an Educational Inclusion questionnaire with multiple options which was based on a Likert scale, was used as a data collection instrument, with a representative sample of 60 students of the seventh semester of the Pedagogy of Experimental Sciences career.
