The participation of parents in the education of their children is an important aspect for academic progress, however, during the time of confinement due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been little information on the involvement of the family in children’s education. La presente investigación es un estudio que tiene como objetivo comprender la práctica filosófica en la enseñanza de niños y niñas en una escuela privada de Lima, desde un enfoque cualitativo y enfoque fenomenológico. La muestra estuvo conformada por seis docentes participantes de filosofía en el nivel primario. A partir de la pregunta, ¿Cómo es la práctica filosófica en la enseñanza de niños y niñas?, se realizó un cuestionario como instrumento aplicado en entrevistas que posteriormente fueron analizadas bajo el proceso fenomenológico de explicitación de datos de Hycner R.H. Los resultados mostraron que la enseñanza de la filosofía es determinada por el diálogo y la capacidad de cuestionamiento que se generan en el proceso filosófico.
