Objetivo: Demostrar la eficacia de las terapias convencionales de enfermería intercultural en el alivio del insomnio. Métodos: Se realizó una investigación cualitativa y descriptiva donde se tomaron datos de fuentes bibliográficas, teniendo en cuenta los síntomas del insomnio en los pacientes en la Clínica de Salud Intercultural y la bibliografía consultada. Se utilizaron fuentes de información confiables como Google Académico, entre otros. La presente investigación se orientó a determinar la relación entre deterioro cognitivo y calidad de vida en adultos mayores usuarios de la pensión 65 de Trujillo en el año 2022. Al respecto, la muestra estuvo conformada por 150 adultos mayores, varones y mujeres, con un diseño de estudio correlacional. Asimismo, para la recolección de datos se empleó el Minimental Test y el Cuestionario de Calidad de Vida WHOQOL. Los resultados mostraron asociación entre el deterior cognitivo y calidad de vida p<.05. En función de las dimensiones, se reportó asociación entre deterioro cognitivo con salud física p<.05, con salud psicológica p<.05, con relaciones sociales p<.05 y con ambiente p<.05. Objective: To determine the association between frailty syndrome and family functioning among older adults with diabetic retinopathy. Materials and methods: An analytical and cross-sectional study conducted among patients diagnosed with diabetic retinopathy. The ophthalmology department diagnosed diabetic retinopathy through pupil dilation, using tetracaine and an ophthalmoscope. Three groups were determined using the FRAIL questionnaire: frail, prefrail and nonfrail; the sample sizes were 39, 64 and 76, respectively, matched by age.
