Comprende los significados de la gestión del cuidado atribuido por las enfermeras con cargo administrativo, en el Hospital Militar Central (Lima Perú). Las bases teóricas y filosóficas fueron dadas por las representaciones sociales de Serge Moscovici. Se estudia a 10 enfermeras con cargo directivo del Hospital Militar Central a quienes se les aplicó una entrevista semi-estructurada. Se obtuvo que emergieron cuatro categorías: reconociendo la gestión y sus dimensiones, reconociendo el objeto de la gestión en la profesión, anclajes de la gestión del cuidado con mirada al pasado y anclajes de la gestión del cuidado con mirada al presente y futuro.
