Busca describir la publicación científica de la SCSF en Scopus y Web of Science (WoS) a través de un estudio bibliométrico de las publicaciones de SCSF en Scopus y WoS. La cantidad de documentos, citas, cuartiles, colaboraciones, y otros fueron comparados. Se encontraron 111 y 57 documentos en Scopus y WoS, respectivamente. Se registraron documentos desde el 2008 hasta el 2022, siendo más la mitad de estudios fueron publicados en los últimos tres años. Todos los años, el número de publicaciones de Scopus superó al de WoS. Similar patrón fue observado en las citas. La mayoría de publicaciones (44,1%, 49) están ubicadas en el penúltimo cuartil (Q3) en Scopus mientras que en Web of Science (26,3%, 15) se ubica en el último cuartil (Q4). Background: Limitations have been reported to comply with good methodological practices in the development of health technology assessments (HTA). Therefore, the objective of the present study was to describe the methodological characteristics of the HTAs carried out in Peru, between 2019-2021. Methods: Descriptive study. We are looking for Peruvian institutions that prepare HTAs whose reports are accessible to the public. We collected the total number of HTAs produced by these institutions per year, and we collected the characteristics of the HTAs produced during the 2019-2021 period. Objective: To estimate the role of age as a predictor of COVID-19 severity in pediatric patients hospitalized with a COVID-19 diagnosis at a reference hospital in Peru. Materials and methods: A retrospective cohort study was conducted, including pediatric patients from one month old to less than 14 years of age, hospitalized between May 2020 and December 31, 2021, at the Edgardo Rebagliati-Martins National Hospital. The exposure variable was age, categorized in six-month intervals. The outcome variable was the severity of COVID-19, determined according to the severity criteria established in the EsSalud Clinical Practice Guidelines for the management of COVID-19 in pediatrics.
