El presente trabajo presenta los resultados del proyecto de investigación desarrollado durante el año académico de 1995. La investigación ha consistido en el análisis de los errores más frecuentes que "cometen" los estudiantes del primer ciclo del Pregrado. This paper attempts to elucidate the problem of the retention of non-continuous sordic obstruents preceded by the homorganic nasal in borrowings from native voices in regional Spanish or in borrowings from Spanish in the Cajamarcan variety of Quechua. The interesting thing is that the terms involved in the phenomenon seem to have come into contact with Quechua in early times and that they are also of high frequency in use. However, they are not affected by the generalized process of sonorization in this variety.This paper suggests as a plausible explanation that such terms occupy a special status since Quechua speakers differentiate between Quechua voices and those used by the dominant group. In this study we characterize the structure of the Quechua spoken in the different communities in the province of Sihuas, area that lies near the northeast border of Departament of Ancash, focusing on the phonological and morphological levels. The importance of this variety lies in the fact that it preserves the consonant system and certain morphological characteristics of Proto-Quechua. By examing this variety, we have discovered the preservation of the retroflex / ĉ /, converted into / č / in other varieties; the retention of the suffix / -ku / not only for the interrogative but also for the negative form; apart from other features what we will approach in the corresponding sections. En primer término, el estudio caracteriza estructuralmente la variedad del quechua hablada en la provincia del Santa (Ancash, Perú) e incide en el sistema fonológico, la morfología nominal, la morfología verbal así como en aspectos de la sintaxis (la estructura de la frase y la subordinación sustantiva). A partir del análisis de los rasgos fonológicos y morfológicos, se establece que esta variedad tiene como área de origen la actual provincia de Huaylas y desde allí se expandió hacia el oeste hasta su ubicación actual en las comunidades de los distritos del Jimbe y Moro. Este artigo apresenta um primeiro relatório de pesquisa sobre correlações de ordem de palavras em uma amostra de línguas ameríndias. Tomando o trabalho de Dryer (1992) como referência teórica, o autor mostra que as correlações encontradas confirmam a Teoria da Ramificação Direcional de Dryer e contradizem a abordagem denominada Teoria Dependente do Núcleo. Nesse sentido, o autor postula que há uma tendência de as línguas ameríndias estudadas seguirem a ramificação típica da ordem OV de línguas, apesar do fato de que entre elas também há línguas da ordem VO (como a Mochica). Os resultados dessa pesquisa (ainda preliminares) fornecerão evidências empíricas significativas que contribuirão para a resolução da atual controvérsia sobre universais e tipologia linguística.

This article reports the results of a searching on the sociolinguistic phenomenon of native language maintenance (Fishman, 1965 and 1968) in a special situation of urban bilingualism. The aforementioned effect is given as maintenance of loyalty to the vernacular and maternal ancestral ethnic loyalty. The research universe is made up of bilingual of Gosen City (Villa María del Triunfo) and Pamplona Alta (San Juan de Miraflores), communities made up ofbilingual Quichua-Castilian, Aymara­castilian and monolingual Castilian.
