OBJETIVO: Determinar el efecto de la aplicación del software educativo “El ABC del cuerpo humano” en el aprendizaje de los alumnos del quinto grado de primaria. MÉTODOS: Se llevó a cabo un estudio cuasi-experimental con dos grupos de 36 alumnos en el grupo experimental y 32 en el grupo control procedentes de la I.E Nº 32004 San Pedro, departamento de Huánuco, durante el periodo 2009. Se utilizaron en la recolección de datos prueba de conocimiento, escala de actitudes y evaluación de habilidades. Para el análisis inferencial de los resultados se utilizó la Prueba U Mann-Whitney para muestras independientes. Objective. To determine correlation between the Academic Leveling Program and academic performance of students of 1st semester of Universidad de Huanuco in subjects such as Basic Mathematics I and Language I, during 2018-I semester. Methods. A quantitative, descriptive, retrospective correlational study was carried out. The population was made up of 2075 students and a non-probability sample of 276 students, distributed in 14 academic programs offered by the University. To collect the data, written tests and student’s grades report obtained during the implementation of the Leveling Program were used. Objective. To determine the influence of social networks on academic performance of the students of Universidad de Huanuco during the academic year of 2018. Methods. It was an observational, cross- sectional and prospective study, with a correlational design. The population was 12674 students, and the sample was 373 students from Universidad de Huanuco. A questionnaire was used in data collection. For the inferential analysis, the Spearman’s Rho Correlation Test was used. Results. It was evidenced that 55.5 % (207/373) presented good academic performance, and 63 % (235/373) showed high use of social networks. Objective. To determine the relationship among learning styles, study habits and academic performance of university students. Methods. The study was descriptive, with quantitative approach and correlational design. The sample was 108 students selected by a non- probabilistic sampling. Instruments used were the Index of Learning Styles of Felder and Silverman and the questionnaire of Study Habits and Motivation for Learning (SHML). Results.They showed a visual learning style (76.9%), followed by sequential style (70.4%), active style (66.7%) and verbal style (23.1%). In addition, students that showed a good level of study habits were 54.6% (59), followed by 38.9% (42) at a very good level, and a lower number of students (6 and 1) were placed in regular and excellent levels, respectively.
