Este estudio explora la interacción del patrimonio cultural inmaterial (PCI) con el espacio virtual durante la pandemia de covid-19, centrado en la peña criolla limeña Don Porfirio (Perú). El confinamiento trasladó las prácticas del PCI al ciberespacio, por lo que se realizó una netnografía y observación participante para analizar las dinámicas digitales y presenciales del PCI. A través de transmisiones en vivo, comentarios y contenidos en redes sociales, se intentó recrear el ambiente tradicional de la peña, pero solo se logró una interpretación parcial debido a las limitaciones de la virtualidad y la asincronía en las interacciones. This work briefly analyses, the similarities between the theoretical concepts of the main authors who address the theories of Social Technology (ST), Local Based Tourism (LBT), and Community Based Tourism (CBT), in order to achieve a foundation from which new visions can be generated that reinforce local development in different communities dedicated to tourist activity, with a socio-environmental model different from those carried out through mass tourism. Part of the literary review used in the investigation of the double doctorate[1] is presented, based on the mentioned theoretical references.
