Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de conocimiento, actitudes y prácticas según el nivel de instrucción de las madres de dos instituciones de dos distritos de Lima, para prevenir la caries de la primera infancia, mediante el instrumento ECAP-CIT. Método: Estudio de tipo no experimental, transversal y correlacional. La muestra estuvo conformada por 125 madres del I.E.I Niño Jesús de Praga y 125 madres del Centro Materno infantil San Genaro de Villa, a quienes se les aplicó el cuestionario ECAP-CIT.
