The contamination of food by heavy metals in areas irrigated with contaminated water is of great concern due to the potential risk to human health. To assess the potential risk of Pb to children's health from consumption of cow's milk in an area of the Mantaro Valley during 2018. Fifty-one children exposed to Pb and eight samples of raw cow's milk were selected. Pb concentrations were analyzed with the atomic absorption spectrometer. The mean Pb content in milk was 0.236 ± 0.057 mg.kg-1, which exceeded the limits allowed by the Codex Alimentarius. The estimated daily intake of lead was 5.9 x 10-3 mg.kg-1day-1; the estimated risk index (HQ) was below one, which represents a low risk for children. The cancer risk was below 1.0 x 10-4. It is therefore concluded that there is no significant risk to children's health from consumption of cow's milk.

La presente investigación tuvo como Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de percepción sobre la calidad de atención de enfermería en pacientes que acuden al servicio crecimiento y desarrollo en el Centro de Salud Márquez Callao durante 2017. Es una investigación descriptiva transversal, se trabajó con una muestra de (n=80 madres), para el recojo de la información se utilizó un cuestionario tipo Likert , la validez del instrumento se realizó mediante la prueba de concordancia del juicio de expertos obteniendo un valor de (0,836); la confiabilidad se realizó mediante el alfa de Cronbach con un valor de (=0,921), la prueba de hipótesis se realizó mediante el Chi-Cuadrado(x2 =37,1) y con un nivel de significancia de valor (p < 0,05). Toxic metal contamination, distribution and risk were evaluated in the sediments of three lagoons used for fish farming in the central region of Peru. The distribution of toxic metals in the sediment was in the following descending order of Zn > V > Ni > Cu > Pb > As > Cr > Co > Cd > Sb. Contamination factor (Cf) and geoaccumulation index (Igeo) values for Co, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Sb, V and Zn indicated low contamination and for Cd moderate contamination. The pollution load index (PLI) ranged from 0.3856 to 0.5622; indicating no appreciable contamination and the modified degree of contamination (mCd) corroborated this result.
