Report a case of girl of 4 years 3 months with congenital cerebral palsy distonic caused by citomegalovirus infectión with convulsive sindrome. The patient was referred to the pediatric dentistry departament at the dental school of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM) for her odontopediatric treatment. The patient had an integral evaluation and treatment with no conventional dental procedures, without consciencious sedation. Having in consideration her age and cooperation level. Several medical and dental specialities was included. A significative diminishment in the convulsive frecuency after the dental treatment was referreal. Finally the of importance integrate odontology into multisciplinary team that works with this kind of patient is remarked.

Se comparó la fuerza de adhesión de cinco sistemas adhesivos y un cemento autograbador – autoadhesivo mediante microtensión en la dentina del canal radicular en su tercio cervical y medio y la dentina coronal superficial. Se utilizaron 12 terceras molares a las que se les eliminó el esmalte oclusal y 42 premolares que fueron descoronados y sus canales radiculares preparados para recibir un poste, posteriormente fueron seccionadas longitudinalmente para exponer el canal radicular, se formaron 6 grupos (GI: All Bond 2 (AB), GII: One Coat Bond (OC), GIII: Excite (EX); GIV: Stae (ST); GV: G-Bond (GB) y GIV: MaxCem (MC) cada uno subdividido en dentina coronal superficial(c), radicular cervical(r) y radicular media(m). Se realizó un procedimiento adhesivo de acuerdo con cada grupo y se colocó la resina Glacier. Las piezas fueron seccionadas 24 horas después, obteniendo 20 especímenes...

The intention of this inuestigation consisted of evaluating the effects of two oral colutorios (colutorio with sodium fluoride to 0.05% and colutorio of water with salt to 5%) on fhe bacterial plate and salivary pH in a population of soldiers. The sample was conformed by three groups: a group use colutorio of sodium fluoride to 0.05%, another use colutorio of water with salt and third group control that used water distilled during 40 days. The characteristics of the population allowed to control important intervening variables such as the diet, buccal hygiene of the soldiers, moments of hygiene and fulfillment of the indicated protocol. PHmetro was used calibrated and the simplified index of Green and Vermillon, to measure salivary pH and the index of bacteria1 plaque, respectively.
