La cuantificación del impacto o los efectos del uso del suelo sobre los atributos físicos es fundamental en la evaluación de la calidad física del suelo y en la búsqueda de un mayor desarrollo del cultivo. El objetivo de este estudio fue evaluar la alteración de los atributos físicos de Eutroferric Red Oxisol (LVef) y Acric Oxisol (LVw) como resultado de diferentes usos del suelo, y la influencia de estos usos en la calidad y calidad de la caña de azúcar. En 2008, el experimento se llevó a cabo en dos áreas, en un LVef con textura muy arcillosa (arcilla = 680 g kg elevada a la menos 1) y en un LVw con textura arcillosa (arcilla = 440 g kg elevada a la menos 1), Jaboticabal-SP.
