An extensive literature review reveals various authors acknowledge skills have an impact on entrepreneurial success. However, a lack of consensus regarding the main skills an entrepreneur needs is apparent. In this study, a contribution is made to the debate with empirical data and analysis, in two steps: by testing mean differences and reducing data with a principal components analysis. A sample of 394 potential entrepreneurs was administered the SAT-ECENT questionnaire, testing four skills: readiness to change, learning capacity, impact on people, and stress tolerance. The questionnaires were administered in Serbia (n = 190) and in Germany (n = 204). In this paper, evidence about two main issues is presented: Entrepreneurial skills vary significantly across countries, and the skill tolerance to stress plays an important role in explaining the variance in the development of entrepreneur...

The topic of the prospective one involves a new necessity of the administrations, be these public or private, to prepare with efficiency and effectiveness, the institutional strategic positions, before such a complex world and with prevalence of the uncertainty. In this case we have wanted to interrelate the prospective one (the future) with the, problems of global or word nature, trying to show and to alert to the new generations, the planet that they will receive in relations to the atmosphere and their problem, just as the climatic change hurried by the man, among others of global nature, in such a way that they make today what corresponds them, to live future but human.

Gender violence and violence against women in the public or private space is an expression of the domination that a human being, self-considered as hegemonic, and socio-culturally supported can exercise against the subordinated. Such hegemonic position is structurally sustained by socio-cultural characteristics or attributes “naturally” assigned to the masculine, and artificially considered as a fixed or unmodifiable position which is, rather, alternating or even overlapping. As a universal sequelae and, on the basis of the actual reality and of reports and pronouncements from national and international organizations, a significant set of quantitative and qualitative evidence of violence against women, with devastating direct or indirect consequences in the mental and physical health of women and of the people around them, particularly their children, can be documented; the final res...

An exploratory and comparative study was developed in both Peru and in Spain with the intention of measuring the impact diversity has in the perception of performance. The variables used were tenure, gender, age, and diversity awareness. The study shows a relationship between the real degree of diversity within the company and the awareness of diversity. It seems that the greater the diversity, the greater the awareness of diversity. Moreover the research provides statistical evidence that the awareness of diversity can be better associated with the perception of performance in companies with high levels of diversity. However the chosen diverse variables, gender, age and tenure do not have a greater relationship with this perception of group performance. The research also suggests that the perception of the degree of diversity acts as a moderator in the performance of the group.

The aim of this study was to determine the technological parameters of the fibre of wool and meat sheep breeds obtained by transfer of embryos imported from Australia and intended for the improvement of sheep herds in the central highlands of Peru. The study was carried out at the Casaracra Experimental Center of the Daniel Alcides Carrión National University, Junín Region, Peru, at 3772 meters above sea level. The breeds were East Friesian, Poll Dorset, Corriedale, Texel, Merino Dohne, and Finnish Landrace. The linear additive model included the factors breed, sex, age and corporal region of sampling, while the interactions were considered residual. An inverse association was found between fibre diameter and crimp curvature (-0.59) and with comfort factor (-0.98); likewise between the crimp curvature with the staple length (-0.43); On the other hand, the association was direct between...

Sheep production in the high Andean regions of Peru faces several challenges, including low productive performance, particularly during the pre-weaning stage. Therefore, the appropriate selection of breeds adapted to these conditions could significantly improve growth indicators and increase the profitability of the production system. The study aimed to compare the behavior of preweaning growth criteria in male and female lambs of six sheep breeds (Dohne Merino, Corriedale, Texel, Poll Dorset, Finnish Landrace, and East Friesian) raised in the high Andean conditions of Peru. A total of 199 live weight records of lambs were evaluated at birth, 25, 60, 90 days, and weaning. The analysis of variance revealed significant differences between breeds, separated by sex, and the Principal Component Analysis examined patterns of variation among variables and breeds. The results showed that males o...

Objectives: To determine the possible pharmacological interactions from the leaves of Maytenus macrocarpa with inhibitory and stimulating bowel motility drugs. Methods: We used 110 male albino mice with average weight of 25g, Arbos and others method was applied. Activated charcoal was administered at 5 % at dose of 0.1ml/10g, as an intestinal marker. The experimental groups included 0.1 ml/10 g of distilled water, leave extract of M. macrocarpa 1 (500mg/kg), leave extract of M. macrocarpa 2 (3000 mg/kg), 1,5mg/kg of atropine, 5mg/kg of loperamide, 0.4mg/kg of neostigmine, 10mg/kg of metoclopramide, leave extract of M. macrocarpa 1 with metoclopramide, leave extract of M. macrocarpa 1 with loperamide, leave extract of M. macrocarpa 2 with metoclopramide and leave extract of M. macrocarpa 2 with loperamide. The statistical validation was based on Wilconxon, ANOVA and Tukey test. Results: T...
