Determina el nivel de conocimiento de los estudiantes de Odontología de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos sobre las medidas de bioseguridad en la atención odontológica frente a la pandemia del COVID-19. Para ello realiza un estudio de tipo observacional, descriptivo, prospectivo y transversal. La muestra estuvo formada por 100 estudiantes de 5to año (65) e internado (35) que estaban matriculados y asistieron regularmente a clases. El instrumento fue un cuestionario de 22 preguntas divididas en 5 dimensiones con un valor de 1 punto por pregunta correctamente contestada, siendo en total un máximo de 22 puntos. Objective: To design and validate an instrument to measure the level of knowledge of dental surgeons about biosafety in dental care during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: Descriptive and cross-sectional study. Initially, an instrument was developed based on a 41-item bibliographic review. Content validation was carried out through the “expert judgment”. Five judges were selected who reviewed the formulation of the questions according to the criteria of relevance and clarity. Through the Aiken V test, 31 statements were obtained with the gathering of observations.
