The mango is one of the most popular and profitable tropical fruits in international markets. In Peru, mango exportation is regulated within a quality control phytosanitary framework that eliminates the " fruit fly" (Ceratitis Capitata) as the main requirement for exportation. La empresa BioFruit SAC cuenta con un sistema híbrido para el tratamiento hidrotérmico de la fruta del mango, desarrollado por la Universidad de Piura, con la finalidad de eliminar la mosca de la fruta. Bajo este contexto, el objetivo de la tesis es determinar la fluidodinámica de configuraciones geométricas de tres propulsores con el propósito de mejorar su eficiencia hidrodinámica e hidrotérmica para reducir los tiempos de tratamiento del mango, así como seleccionar el tipo de propulsor con la mejor prestación bajo un entorno similar al encontrado en el sistema de procesamiento híbrido.
