The present I articulate is developed the procedure of I diagnose and one treatment maloclusion class II division I of Angle, that development in the clinic of post degree of ortodoncia of the faculty of odontolgy of the UNMSM, by means of the technique edgewise, the same one that was created by the Dr. Edward Angle. The clinical case is described by means of the intraoral photographies extra and, the cefalometricos analyses and the obtained results can be evaluated by means of the cefalometricas superpositions, which indicates so much the craneofacial growth as the effects of the treatment.

This paper develops a revision of four studies of cephalometric analysis did by means of Ricketts analysis method, in population of 30 Peruvian subjects, Navajos Indian group, an American black group, 40 Mexican men, whose information were sent to “Foundation Orthodontic Research” (FOR), material sent by Dr Robert Ricketts to the investigator. These cephalograms show that the different values from the cephalometric analysis made in different racial populations, differ in the 100% of the values, or they defer in some factors, like the interincisive angle, the location of the inferior incisor to the line “A” Pog, the aesthetic line “E”, the location of the point “A” that refers about convexity, as well as some different values in the facial depth; these values have a very important meaning to take into consideration when formulating objectives of treatment, that are going t...

Compara tres índices de maloclusión para unificar criterios que permitan una evaluación cierta y definida de los problemas de maloclusión de una determinada población y poder establecer un orden de prioridad de tratamiento. La importancia de este estudio se basa en la existencia de innumerables métodos de registros de índice, muchos de ellos confusos. Con el presente estudio se podrá contribuir a la síntesis, aplicabilidad y estandarización de los tres índices más representativos que se ha encontrado.
