Glyphosate, despite posing risks to human health and the environment, is one of the most widely used agrochemicals in Peru and globally. Motivated by this, the present research explores the reasons behind the regulatory gap in its prohibition, considering that the Peruvian legal framework assigns clear responsibilities to certain authorities in the regulation of agricultural pesticides. The study departs from a technocratic view of risk and seeks to understand how government actors justify the continued existence of the risk. Thus, the central question is: How do governmental actors responsible for regulating the use of agricultural pesticides in Peru neutralize the risk associated with glyphosate use? En la presente investigación se determinó la composición química del PM2,5 en el aire ambiental del campus de la Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina (UNALM). Para ello, se realizó un monitoreo de PM2,5 entre julio y setiembre del 2016 en cinco puntos de muestreo, utilizando un muestreador activo de bajo volumen modelo PARTISOL. La composición química se determinó en términos de contenido total de metales, analizados mediante Espectrometría de emisión atómica de plasma acoplado inductivamente (ICP-AES), a través un Cromatógrafo Iónico. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que el valor promedio de concentración de PM2,5 fue de 50,33 ug/m3, valor superior al Estándar Peruano de calidad del aire (ECA) y las guías de la OMS.
