Objective. To determine the factors associated with skeletal dysplasia in fetuses of pregnant women attended at theNational Maternal Perinatal Institute of Lima from June 2009 to September 2016. Materials and methods. Observational, retrospective, cross-sectional, case-control study. The sample size was 328 pregnant women. For the cases, 82 clinicalrecords of pregnant women whose fetus presented an ultrasound diagnosis of skeletal dysplasia were reviewed and 246clinical records were reviewed of patients whose fetus did not present any fetal malformation, keeping The ratio betweencases and controls of 1: 3.

Objective. To determine the clinical and pathological characteristics of the fetus and from the mother in the fetal death of the NationalMaternal Perinatal Institute from 2011 to 2015. Methodology. This is a quantitative, retrospective, observational, descriptive and crosssectionalstudy. Our population is 954 fetuses that died between week 22 of gestation and / or weight greater than 500 gr at the time of birthat the National Maternal Perinatal Institute from 2011 to 2015. Where our sample is 273 and we apply simple random probabilistic sampling. The technique of data collection that is performed is the observation and the instrument are the records where the data (database andmedical history) that has the National Maternal Perinatal Institute are found. The technique for processing the data will be the SPSS StatisticalBase v22.0 program. In the analysis of data will be estimated by frequ...

We present case which shows the different approach that should have congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) right relative to the left side, in terms of prenatal assessment to establish prognosis for survival, as most used parameters established left congenital diaphragmatic herna. It also shows the increased difficulty in diagnosing the right CDH.

Objective. To determine the similarity or difference in femur length of normal fetuses compared to fetuses with Downsyndrome at the Maternal Perinatal Institute period 2011-2015. Methodology. It is a quantitative, retrospective, observational, descriptive and cross-sectional descriptive study. Our population was all fetuses of the National Perinatal Maternal Institutein the period 2011-2015, which had the measure of Femur Length and the complete database, which meet the criteria ofInclusion and Exclusion.

Pfeiffer syndrome is an autosomic dominant disorder characterized by craniosynostosis, midface hypoplasia and syndactyly of the hands and feet. Three different phenotypes have been described, where type 2 is the most severe and the one amenable of prenatal diagnosis. We present the first clinical case reported at Instituto Nacional Materno Perinatal, Lima, Peru, of a fetus with suspicious ultrasound prenatal findings of this syndrome including cloverleaf-shaped skull, severe ventriculomegaly, frontal bossing, ocular proptosis and overlapped fingers, who was born by cesarean section and died at day eight due to progressive respiratory distress.

Objective. To know the indicators of placental insufficiency in term and post - term gestation with normal fetal growth and adverse outcome in the National Maternal Perinatal Institute during the year 2017. Materials and methods. A correlational, descriptive, cross-sectional and retrospective study was performed in 37-42 weeks' pregnant women with normal umbilical Doppler and normal fetal growth. We investigated the association between eight indicators and six adverse outcomes for placental insufficiency.

Objectives. To determinate the risk of death in new-boros with diagnosis of Selective intrauterine growth restriction in twin pregnancy according sex. Material and methods. Analytic, cross sectional and retrospective. The sample of new-boms with diagnosis of selective intrauterine growth restriction (SIUGR) was selected in the period between February 21'h, 2011 and November 241', 2014 on the National Maternal Perinatal Institute where were included 60491 new-boros, of which 58629 corresponded to single pregnancies, 1790 to twin pregnancies (683 new-borns with SIUGR; 335 of feminine sex and 348 of masculine sex) and 72 to triple pregnancies.
