Introduction: Anxiety and depression are relatively common disorders in pregnancy. The characteristics of adolescents make this group of pregnant women more vulnerable. Objective: Determine the relationship between anxiety and depression in teenage pregnant women. Material and methods: Cross-sectional correlational study, with a sample of 45 teenage pregnant women treated at the San Juan de Lurigancho Hospital during the months of May and June 2017, in which the Edinburgh Depression Scale and the Self-Assessment Questionnaire were applied Ostrosky's Anxiety. Results: 82.8% of teenage pregnant women had depression and 68.9% had a high level of anxiety. An inverse relationship between both variables was found, with a Pearson correlation coefficient of -0.748 (p<0.001).
