Determina las funciones que se le habrían otorgado a los edificios 13, 14 y 15 del sector A, sitio arqueológico de Rúpac, Atavillos bajo, durante los periodos Intermedio Tardío – Horizonte Tardío. El objetivo secundario es caracterizar el tipo de relación que existe entre el patrón arquitectónico tipo Kullpi y la función de los edificios. La investigación es del tipo no experimental, los datos serán recogidos mediante observación directa, aplicando el método deductivo analítico sobre las muestras recuperadas en las excavaciones. El diseño de la investigación es descriptivo. El instrumento de medición utilizado es la recolección directa de datos, a partir de las excavaciones en área al interior de los edificios tipo Kullpi (13, 14 y 15), utilizando el método de la deposición de capas estratigráficas naturales o culturales (Wheeler, 1995). The state of Tawantinsuyu got to include in its maximum expansion, almost the entire territory of the Andes. To achieve this magnificent expansion had to absorb the different sociopolitical entities occupying the Andes at different latitudes. This situation was made possible by implementing a series of political domination strategies, applied according to the socio cultural reality of each. The territory of the nation Aymaraes (Late Intermediate) was no exception. The characteristics of a funerary context of the Middle Horizon recovered from the funerary complex of Cerro Colorado, at the southern end of the valley of Huaura is presented. Between 2014 and 2015 the Archaeological Research Project Chancay-Huaral-Atavillos, managed to dig more than 2,000 funerary contexts of this vast funerary complex, the largest in Peru’s central coast.

The results of the analysis of the animal bone material from excavations at the archaeological complex of Lumbra (Sector A and B), Season 2012-2013 are presented. As a result of these tests it was determined that the highest percentage of remains are those of camelids (llamas, alpacas), which reveals the great use of these animals not only for food but also for the use of its fiber for textile purposes of bones and artifacts to develop as a means of transportation and communication.

The results of archaeological research carried out in the archaeological complex of Rupac, the most monumental site in the Lima region, but until now one of the most unknown is presented. Rupac has a continuous occupation in the late pre-Hispanic period, defined by the development of culture in its independent Atavillos stage (Late Intermediate) and under the rule of Tawantinsuyu (Late Horizon). Rupac dominates the Kullpi, funeral mausoleums buildings by way of a tripartite organization, within which and around conducting activities in honor of the ancestors type architecture.
