Objective: To determine the prevalence of metabolically healthy obesity in medical students from the Universidad Nacional de Trujillo. Materials and methods: An observational descriptive cross-sectional research which included 37 medical students with obesity. Waist circumference (WC), systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), triglycerides (TG), serum HDL cholesterol (HDL-C) and glycemia were evaluated to classify the participants as having metabolically healthy obesity (MHO) or metabolically unhealthy obesity (MUO). Results: The prevalence of obesity in the medical students was 9.14 %. According to the Adult Treatment Panel III (ATP III), 78.38 % of the sample had MHO. The obstruction of the nasolacrimal conduct or dacryostenosis is the result of an incomplete canalization of such a conduct. The clinical manifestations start 2-3 weeks after birth and are characterized by epiphora and muco-purulent discharge. Dacryostenosis may lead to several complications such as acute dacrocystitis, that is a suppurative inflammation characterized by pain, erythema and swollen that can evolve to a lacrimal abscess, pre-septal cellulitis, orbital cellulitis, orbital abscess, cavernous sinus thrombosis, thrombosis of the superior ophthalmic vein and meningitis.

Objective: To conduct a systematic review of tuberculous lymphadenitis cases in children published until April 2022. Material and methods: Case reports of tuberculous lymphadenitis by M. tuberculosis in children were searched in Scopus, PubMed, Science Direct, Web of Science, LILACs, Ovid MEDLINE, EBSCO, and BMC Case Reports databases. Results: Forty-one reports were selected and a total of 46 patients were included. The majority were males (52,2%) of 8,5 (5-12) years old. The time of disease was 2 (1-5) months. The most frequent clinical manifestations were palpable lymphadenopathy (60,9%), fever (52,2%) and cough (26,1%). Weight loss (17,4%), scrofula (15,2%), respiratory distress (13%), hyporexia (13%), localized pain (13%), skin rash (13%), night sweats (4.3%), abdominal pain (4.3%) and jaundice (2,2%) were also founded.
