Introducción. La anemia durante la gestación es un problema de salud pública y una estrategia para combatirla es el suplemento de hierro. Objetivo. Estimar la prevalencia de adherencia al consumo de hierro en gestantes y explorar los factores asociados a la adherencia al consumo del hierro en establecimientos de salud de cuatro ciudades del Perú. Métodos. Se llevó a cabo un estudio observacional, descriptivo, mixto con dos componentes: cuantitativo y cualitativo. En este reporte se presenta los hallazgos del análisis cuantitativo. Participaron 404 gestantes, se recolectó información de las características sociodemográficas y atención recibida en diez establecimientos de salud. Background: The prevalence of overweight and obesity in schoolchildren is increasing in Peru. Given the increased use of digital media, there is potential to develop effective digital health interventions to promote healthy eating practices at schools. This study investigates the needs of schoolchildren in relation to healthy eating and the potential role of digital media to inform the design of game-based nutritional interventions. Objective. To determine the factors associated with chronic child malnutrition (CCM) in two Peruvian re-gions: Huancavelica and Loreto. Materials and methods. We analyzed four repeated cross-sectional evaluations nested in a prospective cohort of children treated in primary healthcare facilities. Data was collected on the characteristics of the child, the mother and the household, including anthropometric information, breastfeeding, complementary feeding, and socioeconomic conditions. A generalized linear model was used to calculate the prevalence ratios (PR) for each of the four quarterly evaluations of the cohort (3rd, 6th, 9th and 12th months). Results.
