En Perú es posible encontrar variedades nativas de arándano como Vaccinium floribundum Kunth “pushgay”, el cual constituye una fuente de germoplasma para el mejoramiento de especies comerciales. Siendo la propagación por estacas una de las vías de propagación que facilita con prontitud la obtención de múltiples plántulas, para ello es necesario probar diferentes concentraciones de fitohormonas o fitorreguladores.
